Ranking The World's 10 Highest-Paid Actors From Worst To Best
6. Jackie Chan ($50 million)
Rank On List: 2nd Place Jackie Chan might not feature in quite so many Hollywood movies these days, but he's still a huge deal in China: big enough to warrant a $50 million a year salary, anyway. His latest flick, the martial arts extravaganza Dragon Blade, has only been released on his home turf (it's out in the US later in the year), but still pulled in a super impressive $120 million dollars. It's pretty amazing that Chan - now in his 60s - is able to demand such a high salary given that most people would assume that his best days are behind him. So can Jackie Chan act? The answer to that question is... uh, yeah, kind of - if you suspend your definition of "acting." Because Chan is a performer; a Chinese Buster Keaton. He's never been out to win an Oscar. Instead, he wants to dazzle and amaze by driving a motorcycle onto a moving train, or sliding down the side of a skyscraper. Acting ability has never been the point with Jackie Chan: he's a mega force of sheer physicality.
