7. Forrest Bondurant - Lawless
John Hillcoat's moonshine-inflicted crime movie, Lawless, had Tom Hardy as Forrest Bondurant, a bloated, slow-talking and somewhat otherworldly brother character to Shia LaBeouf's protagonist, Jack. It's certainly an odd voice, given that Hardy grumbles most of his lines to the point of incomprehension, whilst there's always a lingering sense that his character has been punched in the face the night before and is struggling to speak without it hurting.
