Razzies 2018: 7 Winners That Make No Sense

6. Worst Actor - Tom Cruise (The Mummy)

Make no mistake: Tom Cruise gave one of his rare bad performances in The Mummy, though this was primarily a product of him being wildly miscast as the arrogant douchebag protagonist. At the end of the day, he's still Tom Cruise, and he pulled off the action beats just fine - especially the running - so it's hard to consider his work truly Razzie-worthy.

Who Should've Won: This one's easy. Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) and Zac Efron (Baywatch) were both fine and shouldn't have even been nominated, while even Mark Wahlberg (Daddy's Home 2 and Transformers: The Last Knight) feels like a bit of a stretch.

There's one genuinely bad performance in this category and that's Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades Darker), who once again made Christian Grey a charmless plank of wood at best, and a legitimately creepy a**hole at worst.

Dornan won the award for the first Fifty Shades movie two years ago, so clearly Razzie voters wanted to spread the love a little and pull Cruise down a peg while they had the rare opportunity to do so.
