Razzies 2018: 7 Winners That Make No Sense

1. The Razzie Nominee So Bad You Loved It - Baywatch

The inaugural "Razzie Nominee So Rotten You Loved It" award sees the Razzies teaming up with Rotten Tomatoes readers to vote for the terrible movie they enjoyed the most. Baywatch came out on top with a staggering 44.2% of the votes, but given the talent attached and the clear potential for this to be another 21 Jump Street, wasn't it kinda, well, boring?

What Should've Won: The Emoji Movie and The Mummy can be excluded straight away because they're just not fun enough, leaving behind Transformers: The Last Knight and Fifty Shades Darker.

It's a tough one, but Fifty Shades' toxic relationship does ruin a lot of the potential fun, whereas Bay's movie, with a plot including Merlin and ninja robot butlers, while implying that a Transformer killed Hitler, is by far the most madcap blockbuster of last year.

Baywatch, by comparison, is weirdly dull.
