12. Alice

As with Rick, Alice is another character we only see in the real world, and provides another piece of the puzzle to Wade's existence and why he's so keen on spending as much time as possible in the OASIS.

Alice is the counterpoint to Rick, the good-natured, hard-working auntie who has taken Wade in when he had no one left, and we do get a brief sense of that relationship between them. Susan Lynch gives a likeable performance, but again, it's not all that much in the grand scheme of things.
