The fact that T.J. Miller remains in the movie is likely to be the subject of much debate, and it's unknown whether there was ever a version which included him in real life.

As it is he appears just in the OASIS as i-r0k, essentially serving as the personification of an internet troll. Looking past the actor and instead at the character, he's another that's thin on the ground, but does get a lot of the movie's funniest lines (the kind that Miller excelled at delivering on Silicon Valley), and he and Sorrento (when in the OASIS) play off each other really well.
