Realistic Battle Cat Seems To Be Concept Work For Masters Of The Universe Movie

Why the sepia?

Masters Of The Universe Twitter Though the internet seem to have decided that DeVon Franklin is the most important person at Sony Pictures, at least judging from how they report his more interesting tweets, the fact of the matter is that he isn't. But he does work for the studio, and he is a key player in their ongoing work to get a Masters of the Universe movie made, so when he speaks on that subject, it's worth listening. This time he's not so much telling as showing. Here's a picture from his twitter account that appears to show Battle Cat, He-Man's ride-on pussy from the Masters of the Universe universe. https://twitter.com/DeVonFranklin/status/572893563568058368 There's a latent possibility that this was just something Franklin pulled from Google Image Search to illustrate his point, but probably not. But why the sepia? Of course, any time something from a cruddy, nostalgically worshipped cartoon is given a more realistic rendering, a whole world of messy bedrooms started getting overly excited. It's a picture of a cat. Films do not succeed on cats alone. For Masters of the Universe to come off well, it's going to take some smart filmmakers working from a quality script, and I really should remind you that Jeff Wadlow was the last man we know to have been working on this screenplay. That's Jeff Wadlow of Cry Wolf, Never Back Down, Kick Ass 2. Surely that tempers what mild tremors a picture of a big cat with some armour on might be able to induce? Anyway, DeVon Franklin's social media campaign of sheer, silky schmoozery continues. Just check out what happens because he tweets "Thank you for connecting" to everybody who ever follows him...
