5. Sofia Boutella - Mystique

Is there really anyone else who'd be able to convincingly pull off Mystique's physicality?

Boutella shot to fame in Kingsman: The Secret Service as a deadly killer with blades for legs, and it was her incredible athletic prowess that made her such a standout in the role.

She then appeared in Star Trek Beyond - in a less demanding, but still action-heavy role - before being cast in the upcoming reboot of The Mummy, as the titular character. In short, her remarkable physical performances have become her USP, and Mystique is a character that will require a skillset of this nature.

Action-heavy moments aside, she displayed a captivating seductive charm in Kingsman, and this is crucial here; Mystique's biggest asset is her ability to get people on her side with relative ease, so the actress playing her will need to emanate confidence.

And if taking a potentially ridiculous character (complete with knife-legs), playing the role seriously and making it work doesn't scream confidence, then what does?

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
