3. The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
In The Dark Knight Rises, Catwoman tells Wayne that a revolution is coming from the masses. The masses are of course poor and can be drawn into a parallel with the Occupy Movement. The main antagonist of the film, Bane, then rallies them with a brilliantly thought out plan to essentially hold the city of Gotham hostage. This of course happened while Wayne was reclusive from the rest of Gotham, most likely slowing down the local economy. Then the conservatives come in to fix the status quo. Thatcher probably loved this movie for the simple fact that the rich upper class (Wayne) saved the city. The fact that he was a martyr can only enforce her conservative values. At the end of the day, the city was mostly in ruin, but saved. The class warfare revolution was quelled and businesses could take over to rebuild it.
