1. Why Rey Can Force Heal & How Anakin's Lightsaber Was Fixed

Honestly, why not open the film on Rey rebuilding Anakin's broken lightsaber from the final Last Jedi duel? Because ignoring it like they do in the finished film, only makes us look elsewhere for answers.

Regardless, the Visual Dictionary answers every major new plot beat with Rey, from Force Healing to the reconstruction of that lightsaber. They're actually one and the same.

Turns out, one of the sacred Jedi textbooks was called the "Chronicles of Brus-bu", and included "arcane healing techniques", which detailed how to Force Heal.

Not only that, but this was then used to "heal the broken kyber crystal in [Anakin's] lightsaber".

Answers down in the comments whether you would've rather had Rey demonstrate this technique on the broken saber instead of a random oversized snake, but at least we have some idea of where this came from.
