Robin Hood Trailer Reaction: 3 Ups & 2 Downs

1. It's Action-Packed

We've seen in the past that films that lack in the script department often make up for it in the action, and while it's too premature to judge the quality of the writing in Robin Hood, the trailer certainly seems to suggest there's plenty of action to look forward to. What's more, it's good action too - and the effects are of s high standard. With Egerton's character jumping off rooftops with his loot in hand, shooting an arrow at the person chasing him, Robin Hood will be no snooze-fest, that's for sure.

Additionally, the all-out war brewing between the Sheriff of Nottingham and Robin Hood will likely result in plenty of action-heavy fights and, considering the premise, that's exactly what a movie of this nature requires to succeed. Robin Hood might not win any Oscars, but the action sequences suggest that it's going to be an enjoyable thrill-ride for movie-goers of all ages.
