Mercedes Knight is a fantastic superhero with tons of comic book exposure. Fans know who she is and want to see her get some more screen time. In the comics, Knight reveals herself as a secret agent working to gather intel from the New Hydra. She only chooses to give up her cover when she needs to save Sam Wilson from losing as Captain America. Sam and Bucky are excellent teammates, but it doesn’t hurt to add a third partner into the mix.
