4. Hero & Villain Publicity Shots
Like all of the finest films, Santa Claus had a central relationship through which the film explored issues of good and evil - in this case it was the dynamic between innocent Patch the Elf - seen above - and the villainous BZ played by John Lithgow, well before he played such an iconic villain in Dexter - seen below. Some might say that Patch was too innocent, and BZ too caricatured for the impact to really work, but the camp appeal of the film works for the same reason, and Dudley Moore and Lithgow are the stand-out cast members of the entire film.
