2. Amber & Richie Are The Killers (And Toxic Stab Fans)
And now it's time for the big reveal. When the remaining partygoers gather to hash out who the killer might be, Amber pulls a gun and shoots Liv in the face, revealing herself to be Ghostface #1.
Amber then hilariously feigns injury as she heads outside her house, but when Sid and Gale see right through it, Amber fires a bullet into Gale's gut.
Ghostface #2 is then revealed to be Richie, with he and Amber meeting on Reddit amid their shared frustrations over the direction of the Stab movie franchise.
Their plan? To create compelling real-life material that a new Stab movie could adapt from, effectively staging the Stab requel they'd want to see on the big screen.
Their grand speech explaining their motives basically passes commentary on this very movie itself, namely that Dewey was killed off in order to up the stakes and make it clear this wasn't just another superficial requel.
It's at this point that the Scream franchise has probably reached peak meta, because it can't possibly get any meta, right?
