Because every movie needs a damn post-credits scene, Scream VI is the first entry into the series to include one, but it's thankfully not what you think.
No, it's not some last-minute twist revealing the presence of another Ghostface or a surprise cameo from Sidney - it's a throwaway joke intended to mock anyone who sat through 10 minutes of credits expecting something substantial.
The "scene" is literally a five-second clip of Mindy saying, "Not every movie has to have a post-credits scene," before cutting abruptly to black. It's probably not worth wasting 10 minutes of your life waiting for, but it's a funny little stinger all the same.
