2. Chad Somehow Survives
The big, hilarious surprise at the end of the movie is that, somehow, Chad survived being stabbed so many times by the killers.
In the final scene, as the heroes assemble and mourn Chad, we see him being carted off on a stretcher, before a relieved Tara gives him a kiss.
Sam even asks him, "How are you alive?," before Mindy comments how surprising it is that all of the Core Four made it through the scenario in one piece.
It's absolutely ridiculous that Chad survived such a hellacious butchering, especially after similarly surviving numerous stabbings in the previous film, but considering how damn likeable he is it did provide some welcome levity at the end.
That said, they really took plot armour to some absurd extremes in this film, and the filmmakers would do well to tone it down a bit for Scream 7.
