6. No Proper Black Panther Or Captain Marvel Sequel Announcements
With how successful Black Panther and Captain Marvel were, to the point where even Marvel themselves were surprised by their box office numbers, many thought that both characters' sequels would be fast tracked, but apparently that was not the case.
Amidst all the announcements the lack of outings for these two heroes did feel slightly odd, especially when there was time to spare to talk about Thor's fourth movie and what felt like numerous Disney Plus shows - meaning that these absences were really felt.
Sure, Kevin Feige may have confirmed that these films are coming eventually, but that same statement also spoke of the likes of the Fantastic Four and X-Men which are projects that are clearly very far off, whereas these movies would have been expected to be releasing much sooner.
Out of all the surprises, this was certainly the most negative one.
