1. Harry Mason / Christopher Da Silva - Silent Hill: Revelation 3D (2012)
Reprising his pointless role from the 2006 Silent Hill film (it was rumoured the studio only put him in as they had to have a male subplot), he is now protecting his daughter from the cult of Silent Hill in the real world. Of course fairly quickly into the film he fails at this and you are returned to Silent Hill once more for yet another gratuitous video game film. Why Bean returned to the franchise is a problem for the best thinkers of the world to ponder as he provides little more than being walking exposition. His again is a shallow character and although none of the main cast particularly make you feel anything more than a slight pang of pity for their situation, you certainly couldn't care less that Bean is taken away to Silent Hill, especially as it paves the way for the better parts of the film - the monsters. By this point it's clear that Bean is taking the paycheck, his trivial performance even more puzzling as it was in the same year as his acclaimed performances in the BBC drama Accused. With many of his latest performances failing to capture the audience's imagination, let's hope Jupiter Ascending can be a real return to form for the burly Yorkshireman.
