Seth Rogen: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

2. Andrew Brewster - The Guilt Trip

Seth Rogen has always been pretty good at choosing his projects. He usually avoids the cookie-cutter fluff that Hollywood churns out each Friday and is forgotten by Sunday. Even some of his smaller films were driven by writer/directors who have a voice and style of their own. Why he ever got involved in The Guilt Trip, a horrenous, time-warped road trip comedy with Barbara Streisand, I€™ll never know. It could be due to a nice paycheck sent to his mailbox for just showing up. Or maybe he is a die-hard Streisand fan and jumped at the chance to work with her. Eh...I think I€™ll go with the former.

The Guilt Trip is just another road trip movie where two mismatched people are crammed in a car together but what makes The Guilt Trip so excruciating a watch is the cringe-worthy dialogue and the fact Rogen and Streisand have absolutely no chemistry together.

A painful, painful, painful, painful experience.
