In most reviews for The Predator, the performances - across the board - are given high praise.

The likes of Boyd Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key and Jacob Tremblay are said to deliver fine turns, and on the whole, the cast has fun with the movie, working well together and selling their (often cliched) characters convincingly.

But a standout is reportedly Trevante Rhodes. The Moonlight and 12 Strong actor - who plays a former Marine in The Predator - is frequently mentioned in reviews as a scene-stealer who chews the scenery, rising above every other performer around him.
