Shang-Chi: 8 Characters Who Should Appear

As I mentioned before, the Ten Rings have been around since the very beginning of the MCU, having kidnapped Tony Stark during his time in Afghanistan. Their actions changed the world in a way they didn't intend, as they gave rise to Iron Man, something that the faction's leader - Raza - became obsessed with.

Raza and the Ten Rings, after all, had been in league with Obadiah Stane, and when Raza demanded that Stane help build the organization their own legion of armored soldiers in exchange for everything Tony had built and designed while imprisoned, Stane killed Raza and his men. From there, Stane went on to build his Iron Monger suit and the rest, as they say, was history.

Obviously, with Raza long dead, there's no way for him to show up in the current timeline - barring a retcon that he survived - but Shang-Chi's film does have an opportunity to dive into the past and show what the Ten Rings has been up to all along.

If the film does take a look into the past through flashbacks, seeing Raza again would be another great way to link everything together in a perfectly logical way and give more context to how Raza's branch of the organization operated in contrast to ones we have yet to meet.
