2. Benjamin Wallfisch's Sweeping Musical Score

It's fair to say that the DCEU has generally done a more consistent job of coming up with memorable music than the Marvel Cinematic Universe - bar a few exceptions - and while Benjamin Wallfisch's score doesn't reach the iconic heights of Hans Zimmer's work on Man of Steel, it's still pretty damn good.

The brassy musical score here is clearly inspired by the classic orchestral sweep of John Williams' score for the original 1978 Superman film, and while you might not leave the cinema quite humming the hero theme yet, there's still a sure uplift to Wallfisch's solid musical suite.

It's especially refreshing following in the footsteps of Aquaman's more electronic-infused stylings, and it's possible that repeat viewings might allow the punchy fanfare to stick in the mind a little easier.

This isn't to forget some choice pop music selections throughout the film also, though revealing which iconic hits show up would definitely constitute a spoiler.
