She-Hulk: 10 Things You Need To Know About The Disney+ TV Series

The Marvel Cinematic Universe just found its sensational new Hulk!

Current world events have delayed nearly every upcoming Marvel Studios project, and not even Marvel Cinematic Universe head honcho Kevin Feige can do anything about that. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was supposed to debut on Disney+ in August, but now looks set to arrive on the streaming service next year.

Black Widow, meanwhile, is expected to be delayed imminently, but WandaVision is still set to premiere this year (which feels like a minor miracle when the entire Phase 4 slate has been postponed).

None of this has slowed Marvel Studios down, of course, and they remain hard at work on a number of upcoming movies and TV shows. Among them is She-Hulk, a series which promises to introduce a brand new Hulk to the MCU and lead to some huge changes in this shared world.

In recent months, there have been a lot of big rumours about what to expect, while the past week has seen She-Hulk find both a director and lead star (who isn't the "Alison Brie-type" some claimed she would be). There are a tonne of reasons to be excited about what's to come in this Disney+ project, and here you will find an in-depth look at everything that's been revealed...and what you should expect!

10. The Show's Writer

Marvel Studios has been reaching out to a vast array of writers and directors for the TV shows coming to Disney+, most of whom actually have plenty of small screen experience. The expectation fans had is that big name filmmakers would be tasked with bringing these characters to life on the small screen, but it seems Kevin Feige and company actually want people who know they way around a TV series

It's a wise move, and impossible to fault the choice of writers She-Hulk has found thus far.

Jessica Gao was hired as the head writer for the series back in November, and while her name may not be instantly familiar, it should be because she won an Emmy for her work on Rick & Morty (specifically the amazing "Pickle Rick" episode). Gao has also written episodes of Silicon Valley and the pilot episode of ABC's Lazy Rich Asians.

Author Dana Schwartz has also been added to the writer's room, and confirmed that the scripts for the series were completed in May, so Marvel Studios has a good head start on this production.
