She-Hulk: 10 Things You Need To Know About The Disney+ TV Series
8. Tatiana Maslany Is The Marvel Cinematic Universe's New Hulk
It appears that much of Phase 4 will revolve around the current generation of heroes passing their mantles to some new faces. In Hawkeye, Clint Barton is expected to hand his bow to Kate Bishop, Jane Foster will become the God of Thunder in Thor: Love and Thunder, and Sam Wilson is set to take over the mantle of Captain America in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
Those are just a few examples, but there's definitely a theme here. This likely makes She-Hulk vastly more important than many fans anticipated, so casting the right actress was vitally important.
Well, it appears as if Marvel Studios were well aware of that that with Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany now chosen to take on the role of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk. She was nominated for an Emmy for her work in the Canadian BBC America series, and has since appeared in he likes of Diary of the Dead, Stronger and Destroyer. She can currently be seen in HBO and Robert Downey Jr.'s Perry Mason.
Maslany definitely isn't the "Alison Brie-type" some online scoopers claims, but an argument could be made she's even better given what a talent the actress is.
