Sigourney Weaver: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked
3. Dr. Geraldine Bennett - Abduction (2011)
Aside from Abduction being a permanent stain on Taylor Lautner's show-reel for the rest of his life, the 2011 film has almost nothing worthwhile within it to make it recommendable it anyone. However cynical the viewpoint may be, Abduction's box office takings were probably largely due to Twilight fans making it their mission to watch anything with Lautner in it. But it wasn't just the revelation that Lautner wasn't skilled enough to be a leading man that made Abduction awful to watch. Aside from some cringeworthy dialogue and forced emotions, the supporting cast for Abduction weren't up to scratch either. A phoned-in performance, Weaver plays a former CIA agent and psychiatrist that carries no believability. In truth, Weaver probably never stood a chance here with a character so poorly written and with so little depth that the performance was always likely to end up on this list. It was clear the screenwriters of Abduction had one job and that was to make it work as a Taylor Lautner vehicle. Everything else just didn't matter.
