Silver & Black: 10 New Leaked Plot Details You Need To Know

4. Norman Osborn Was The Movie's Secret Villain

Silver And Black
Marvel Comics

In an early draft of Silver & Black, the plan was for Norman Osborn to be used as the lead, secret villain. While fans are anxious to see that iconic comic book villain clash with Spider-Man again, it's been done before, and Marvel Studios definitely appears to be intent on using bad guys who haven't been featured in previous movies (hence why Kraven the Hunter is now rumoured for Spider-Man 3).

Osborn was the one funding Stromm's work, while Charles Standish was set to serve as his messenger. The future Green Goblin, meanwhile, would only be seen, not heard. That was the extent of his appearance in this movie, and it seems as if the hope was to set him up as a future big bad.

How on board Marvel Studios was with that isn't clear, but a vague cameo appearance like this could have at least led to him factoring into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some way down the line...ultimately, though, this does sound a little too much like The Amazing Spider-Man franchise.
