As the first casting replacement on this list, it's hard not to wonder about the reasoning behind Michael Madsen's departure from the role. As it stands, the character who betrayed John Hartigan in "That Yellow Bastard" will now be played by Jeremy Piven, who audiences have yet to get a solid look at in any of the promotional footage that's been released. With the "A Dame to Kill For" story section of the film taking place after "That Yellow Bastard," fans will likely see the effect that Hartigan's death may have had on him due to his expressed regret in the first film upon collecting Hartigan from prison. Partnered with the great Christopher Meloni as Mort, Bob's beefed up presence in the tangled web of Eva Green's Ava Lord is bound to leave him with a major headache. While we're already missing Madsen in the role, if even just for continuity's sake, we can only cross our fingers that Piven brings enough energy to the role to quickly get fans past it.
