7. Ray Park - Mysterio
Playing bubble-headed Mysterio might seem like something of a thankless task for "real" actors, given that they would be obscured for the majority of their screen time, so why not embrace that element of the character and cast a veteran of under-heralded roles that go along the same lines? The name Ray Park might not be a particularly famous one outside of Star Wars fandom (and probably X-Men appreciation circles) but the martial arts expert is far from a stranger to the big screen. Having played as iconic villains as Darth Maul and the Headless Horseman in Sleepy Hollow, without the need to be particularly identifiable, Parks has form with this type of character, and he also, crucially has an appropriate backstory that would help the performance hugely. Who better to play a former stuntman with incredible agility, than a stuntman who has proved himself to have incredible agility? He might not have the most obvious on screen charisma - given that his characters are often voiceless - but he does have presence, and a particularly physical performance of the character would be a good addition to the mix of villains who are likely to spend the majority of their screen time clashing their egos together.
