6. Colm Feore - Vulture
This may be something of a controversial choice, given that the Chronicles Of Riddick villain is already cast in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, as Oscorp employee Donald Menken, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the film-makers won't choose to close the gap between the Amazing Spider-Man movies and their spin-offs a little more explicitly. When Feore was cast as Menken, the internet lit up with rumours that he had in fact been cast as Vulture - at least partly based on the fact that his striking physical appearance would make him a good choice for the character (the traditional image of the character shares the same harsh facial features that Feore can boast) - and despite an official rebuttal by director Marc Webb, some of those rumours still persist. It wouldn't be unprecedented for a major studio to closely guard a character twist like this, and though Donald Menken has no explicit link to the character of Vulture, there could well be scope to reinvent the villain as a loyal follower of the Green Goblin, who is inspired to take up his wings in response to what Spider-Man does to his beloved boss.
