Siskel, Ebert & Roeper... 24 hours a day!

Ebert & Roeper so I went for years and years not really knowing what it was about. The first time I remembered seeing it was on the extra's of Reservoir Dogs where Tarantino had placed the show's review of his flick on the DVD and I loved it. Roger Ebert gave it a thumbs down! How dare he! Then again on the Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown DVD, more reviews from Siskel & Ebert and I loved it. These guys knew what they were talking about and had such a great chemistry together that it made for a cool 30 minute reviewing. So without the show here in Britain, I kept up with Ebert's great reviews of movies over at his site. Around two and half years ago when the Itunes podcasts were really kicking in, I found the show again, now titled Ebert & Roeper (after Gene Siskel's death some years back) and I could now listen to them every week. More recently they have started to put up the video of the weekly reviews and now comes the news from Slash Film that they are currently in the process of uploading 5 thousand or so reviews from the show's 30+ years of airing. That is truly spectacular stuff and I'm going to watch a ton of them one after the other right now. What did Siskel and Ebert really think about The Empire Strikes Back upon it's opening release? Boy, did Ebert hate Gladiator that much? CLICK HERE FOR THE HOME OF A THOUSAND REVIEWS (you can search by title, actor or director. HELL YEAH!) Charismatic guys just sitting and talking about movies. Christmas has come early folks!
