3. Eve Is Moneypenny

This was one of the worst kept secrets about Skyfall, something die-hard fans had been harping on about ever since the film began shooting, and one which poor Naomi Harris has had to deny time and time again to press hounding her for answers. Still, it turns out in a closing scene that, yes, Eve Moneypenny is Harris' character's full name. This ties in quite nicely with those - myself included - who have noted how much the film appears to mirror The Dark Knight Rises, and similarly, the Moneypenny reveal is a cheeky moment somewhat comparable to the sly Robin reveal at the end of Nolan's film. It will be interesting to see where they go with Moneypenny from here on out, given that she was typically not a field agent in her most popular iteration, and one can't imagine that the filmmakers would spend so much time building her up as a tough femme fatale only for her to be relegated to desk duty for her remaining tenure. Hopefully she will be employed primarily as a peripheral agent tasked with helping out Bond when the time calls for it, because though she takes a back-seat to Judi Dench this time, that won't so much be a problem in the next Bond film...
