The tropical planet Scarif was first introduced to audiences in Rogue One, serving as the epic, gorgeous backdrop for Jyn Erso's (Felicity Jones) desperate third-act quest to steal the Death Star's plans.

It also gets a not-so-subtle namedrop in Solo when Han, Beckett and co. are discussing possible locations to refine the costly hyperfuel coaxium and settle Beckett's debt with Dryden Vos.

Due to the refinement materials residing within a fortified Imperial vault, however, the prospect is quickly rubbished, ensuring the Empire held strong on Scarif until the events of Rogue One.
