Though it's not exactly clear where they show up in the movie, we know that screenwriter Jonathan Kasdan and first assistant director Toby Hefferman appear in Solo as Tag Greenley and Bink Otauna, two minor characters from Star Wars lore who, akin to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, have improbably had run-ins with just about every major original Star Wars character.

The pair first appeared in the 2001 comic run Tag & Bink Are Dead, and though this was effectively made non-canon in recent years, their inclusion in Solo neatly fixes that.

Tag and Bink creator Kevin Rubio even publicly tweeted his gratitude to Kasdan for making them canon, to which Kasdan replied, "Thank You, Kevin. I’m a huge fan and I had to get ’em in there, and then had to play it myself (with Toby Hefferman) to do it justice."

Isn't that just wonderful?
