46. "Luck's Got Nothing To With It"

After Han joins the Imperial Army, the story leaps forward three years and we witness Han in the heat of battle alongside his mentor Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson).

After Han, Beckett and the rest of their squad make it through a particularly hairy shootout, Han remarks about his tendency to be lucky, to which a fellow soldier harshly retorts, "Luck's got nothing to do with it."

This is in fact a nod to a scene from A New Hope, where Han (Harrison Ford) espouses his belief in luck to Obi-Wan (Alec Guinness), who memorably replies, "In my experience, there is no such thing as luck."
