1. Qi'ra Kills Dryden Vos & Takes His Job

Qi'ra was by far the most pleasant surprise in the entire movie, given that many expected her to be a typical love interest for Han who probably sacrifices herself to save him when the time calls for it.

Instead, she proves herself to have tremendous agency when she saves Han's hide in his final battle against Dryden Vos, and employs her Teräs Käsi skills to defeat Vos.

After telling Han to go rescue Chewie, Qi'ra assumes Vos' position within the criminal organisation Crimson Dawn, and reports to her new superior, Darth freaking Maul.

Given that few expected her character to have such a complete and intriguing arc - or for Clarke to give such a solid performance - it was a major feather in the movie's cap to take her in this tantalising direction.
