Solo: A Star Wars Story - What Does The Ending Really Mean?

5. Han Vs Qi'Ra

Before Leia, there was Qi'ra. We're introduced to Emilia Clarke's character as the woman he loves back on Corellia, but she changed a lot more than he did in the years they were separated.

Their romance sadly doesn't really pop on screen, and while her double-cross isn't a huge surprise, it does very much setup further stories involving the pair.

Qi'ra, now working directly under Maul, has just become a very powerful gangster in much the same way as Dryden Vos was before her. Han, meanwhile, knows she has betrayed him.

There's no resolution to their story here, and although Qi'ra is never mentioned in the Original Trilogy (and thus has to be out of Han's life before then), the amount of time between this and the original Star Wars means there is a lot of scope to show what happens.

Both are in the criminal underworld life now, and are surely going to run into each other again. Their romantic relationship may be over, but it'd be interesting to see what happens when the pair are reunited.
