Spectre: 23 Easter Eggs & References You Need To See

1. The Iconic White Tuxedo

After disappearing after the end of A View To A Kill, Bond's famous white tuxedo comes back. He wears it in the train sequence, which sees it completely ruined by Mr Hinx. The addition of the red carnation is also a very obvious nod to the suit's first appearance in Goldfinger. That's not the only reference in what Bond wears. He also spends his Austrian jaunt wearing a black turtle neck (ridiculously tight like all of Craig's Bond costumes), just as he did in Live And Let Die. Plus the outfit Bond wears in Morocco is an updated version of one he wears in Tangiers from The Living Daylights, and Bond in his white shirt and holster waiting for Moneypenny feels like a callback to the same outfit combination in Dr No when Connery's Bond waited for Professor Dent. And of course there's the obligatory straightening of his cufflinks after an action sequence, as he did in Skyfall. Did you enjoy Spectre? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread.
