While the title of this entry is relevant, it's purpose is to serve as an example of how cheesy some of the old Bond films have become. The iconic Blofeld and his cat-stroking fetish are so famous that the image has become a victim of itself. No longer do people see an unsettling image of a mysterious man petting his feline friend, they see the endless parodies of said villain. From Dr. Evil in the Austin Powers films to the endless homages to Donald Pleasence's version of Blofeld as the quintessential bad guy, there's just no way that the original version of Blofeld will return in Spectre. If he does at all. No, all of the original aspects of both Blofeld and SPECTRE as a whole are probably going to be eschewed in favour of a much more modern criminal society devoid of facial scars, knife-tipped shoes and piranha pools. Most of all though, don't expect there to be a hideout that's concealed within a volcano full of jumpsuit-clad goons.
