Spectre: 8 Big Clues Hidden In The New Teaser Trailer
The recent action-packed trailer has opened up some exciting new possibilities for 007.
The recently released teaser trailer of Spectre, the eagerly-anticipated 24th instalment of the iconic James Bond series, brought a crucial aspect of the movie to the fore: action. Several shots of action sequences in Rome, Mexico and the Alps are revealed, each giving viewers subtle clues to the overall shape and style of the movie. There are still, of course, several months of filming to complete before Spectre's November premiere, but plans certainly seem to be coming to fruition. Skyfall got the series back on track after the lacklustre (and horrendously edited) Quantum of Solace, most noticeably in terms of a cohesive narrative. A slightly more overlooked improvement, however, was the vast improvement of action sequences - providing fans with the right balance of spectacular thrills and gritty realism. If this trailer is anything to go by, Spectre will perhaps lean more towards the ostentatious side of things, hopefully without spilling over into overblown Die Another Day territory. Several big set pieces are implied, signalling a slight thematic return to the pre-Craig era of flashy gadgets and slightly more farfetched stunts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lsAyK4aRNs The teaser gives glimpses of plane crashes, flamethrowers and fistfights, leaving no doubt that the most crucial element of the James Bond series - excitement - is present in abundance.
