As a blockbuster film coming off the back of a major success, its justifiable that Spectre has had to reveal its fair share of information, via images and trailers, but the marketing on the whole hasn't actually revealed all that much. And in the absence of information, theory blossoms.
Understandably, when a movie this hotly anticipated discloses as little as it has, people start looking for anything to start hypothesizing outwards. From fanboys to professional media, many have taken note of the callbacks Spectre seems to be making to films of Bonds past - they've hardly been accidental. A large deal of attention has been placed upon the potential inclusion of famous Bond baddie Ernst Stavro Blofeld, and who could be playing him, if anyone at all.
The very nature of fan theories and media speculation is that the ideas are improbable but with a twinge of believability. Sometimes the most convincing theories dont pan out, but the movie instead surprises us with things no one was anticipating. Nonetheless, its always fun to guess what's going to happen.
