Spectre: 9 Simple Fixes That Would've Made It Awesome
4. Give Us A Resolution To Lucia Sciarras Storyline
One big gripe which a lot of people have come away from Spectre with is the casual manner in which Lucia Sciarra, was tossed onto the scrapheap as soon as Bond had seduced some key expository plot points out of her and left her for dead. Also, and this is very much a subsidiary point, but Lucia complained that Bond had only bought her five more minutes of life as the place would be swarming with more assassins. So how long exactly did this tryst last? Bond certainly seems to have, uh, accomplished his personal mission, if you catch my drift, in record time, which doesn't speak volumes for his prowess in that department. ANYWAY. I realise Bond said that he was going to get his pal and CIA operative Felix Leiter to smuggle her to the US embassy, but seeing as we never see whether Felix comes through or not - indeed, we never see Felix full stop - it just felt like she was floating in limbo, neither definitely dead nor definitely alive but sort of both at the same time. She became Schrödingers Bond girl.
