Spectre Trailer Breakdown - Everything You Missed And Need To See
The Alpine Sequence
Ever since it was announced Spectre was going to be shooting the Austrian Alps, everyone's been excited. Not only is it a great location for some properly varied action, but it's a great way to homage On Her Majesty's Secret Service (which is exclusively called either the best or worst Bond). The sequence sees Bond attacking a convoy, including a car containing Léa Seydoux's Madeleine Swann and Mr. Hinx. There's a lot of great, non-CGI action here, best of all Bond's plane getting stripped of its wings and crashing down through the snow. Skiing is for wimps. The main focus of the sequence seems to be rescuing/capturing/winning over Swann. She at first doesn't seem too hot on 007 (maybe she didn't mind being ferried around by Hinx), but he manages to convince her pointing out that he's "her best chance of staying alive." It's almost as if his single motive isn't to just sleep with her. Later on, there's a glimpse at what looks to be the start of the sequence, showing how Bond acquires that plane - in footage that we've seen behind-the-scenes before, he attacks a bunch of goons at a mountain-top base. The very end of the trailer features a bit more action, showing the plane continuing its sledge by smashing through a barn. This is going to be one gleeful, borderline ridiculous sequence.
