Spectre Trailer Breakdown - Everything You Missed And Need To See
Blofeld's Scheme
He's Blofeld! Waltz was always so obviously most iconic Bond villain and now we have some pretty big evidence that "Franz Oberhauser" is really the modern interpretations of Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Why? Because that jacket he's wearing is pretty much a current style equivalent of the grey suit worn by the classic iteration of the character. Kinda like how the film's Aston Martin is a modern update of a classic Bond element. Of course, this could all be part of a massive double bluff, but if so, what misdirection! Clearly modern SPECTRE's taken some inspiration from the sixties version (what's the bet there's a throwaway line about a previous version of the organisation, just to mess up the continuity more?). Bond is brought to his knees (as the badass Blofeld looks away, no less) in a massive complex full of black suited henchemen and endless corridors of monitors. This isn't some showy, cult-like Rome meeting - this is the real deal. And as Bond's captured, that means things have taken a very bad turn. "It was me, James. The author of all your pain." The more we get through this trailer, the more it looks like Blofeld is driven purely out of some hatred of Bond. Tie this in with that burnt photo in the first teaser, and we've got some "I am your father" level meddling going on here.
