Denbigh's Betrayal
The character with the smallest presence in the Denbigh, Andrew Scott's new addition to the series. He was announced on the MI6 side of things at the official announcement last year, but given how that roster's already pretty full, many suspected there was something a bit nefarious about him. And boy there is - he's seen grappling for a gun with M in the SIS building, suggesting that he's a double agent of some sort. If Spectre's going to pull a double bluff and reveal a different master behind the evil events, it's probably Scott (even if that's a direct lift of his Moriarty from Sherlock). Just look how evil he so clearly is. He's clearly linked to the movie's subplot involving M dealing with government pressures, although given SPECTRE's penchant for toppling institutions it'll probably loop round into the A-story. At the very least, Denbigh must have some link to the organisation. The real question is, how high does he go? M used to sit in an office (or submarine) giving out missions and getting shocked by 007's post-mission antics. But not new M.
