Spider-Man: Far From Home - Everything We Know So Far

Both behind and in front of the camera, Far From Home is shaping up to look a lot like the first movie.

Jon Watts, who did a great job first time around, is returning to direct its sequel, and the movie will once again be written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, two of the six credited screenwriters from last year's instalment.

In terms of the key characters in Peter Parker's life, we'll once again be seeing Marisa Tomei's Aunt May, Zendaya's Michelle, and Jacob Batalon's Ned Leeds (who also briefly appeared in Infinity War).

There's plenty left to explore with those characters, especially given Homecoming ended with Aunt May seemingly discovering Peter's secret, and Michelle teasing her character as going by "MJ" and further developing her relationship with him. As for keeping the core cast and crew together, that also fits with the previously-stated desire of having this trilogy be like a Harry Potter series as Peter goes through school.
