Spider-Man: Far From Home - Everything We Know So Far

9. Scorpion Will Probably Be One Of The Villains

The scene that came after the credits rolled on Spider-Man: Homecoming was a real stinger, as it clearly paved the pay for Scorpion to be a villain in the sequel.

Michael Mando's Mac Gargan was only a bit-part player in the first movie, but his getting beat up and then imprisoned because of Spider-Man means he's a man with a grudge, and is determined to find out just who is underneath the mask.

Mando isn't 100% confirmed just yet, but given the post-credits tease it's surely just a matter of formalities. He's an excellent actor, and Scorpion would easily work as a secondary villain (which is what it looks like being, even though Scorpion could probably be the main bad guy if necessary), so it'd be a major surprise if this didn't happen. The character in the comics possesses superhuman strength, arachnid powers not too dissimilar from Spidey himself, and a huge mechanical tail, so he'd be a good match for the teenage web-head.
