2. When Does Mysterio Become The Villain?

One of the trailer's big surprises was seeing Mysterio introduced as a hero of sorts, apparently being recruited by Nick Fury to help take down the Elementals, on which he is an expert.

But it's inevitable that Mysterio's deception will eventually be unveiled, and he'll end up battling Spidey in the film's finale.

Given how obvious the reveal seems on paper, it's not likely we'll be kept waiting until act three for a "shocking" twist, and the seeds of suspicion will probably be sewn pretty quickly, if only by way of Gyllenhaal's manic performance.

If Mysterio is still pretending to be a hero by the half-way point, it'd be pretty surprising.
