4. The Devil In The Details
As our reflections on the Easter Eggs, references and little details is going to explore alongside this initial reactions piece, this trailer is chock-full of little details and call-backs to other films in the MCU.
We see newspaper cuttings on the wall showing the destruction of the Bodega shop in Homecoming, Peter Parker's passport has a clever date (check the Easter Eggs piece for more on that) and Peter Parker at one point rocks a meme-based T-shirt that is a delight.
Basically, Sony have done what Marvel usually do with their trailers, adding layers beyond just the surface to give fans a reason to watch it on repeat and hiding secrets and clues that will help the Internet generate the content that is becoming so much of a part of the marketing process for studios now.
