Spider-Man: Homecoming - 10 Things We Want To See In The Trailer

6. Plenty Of Aunt May

By far the most significant relationship in Peter Parker's life is with Aunt May. She's the woman who raises him - and when Uncle Ben isn't on the scene, they grow even closer. This is especially true given the fact that Tom Holland is playing a fifteen year old Peter. He's only just scratched the surface of his teenage years.

News of Marisa Tomei's casting as Aunt May initially drew controversy, but her appearance in Captain America: Civil War showed just how charming and likeable the character could be, even at a younger age.

In past Spider-Man films, a threat to Aunt May has always been much more meaningful than arbitrary destruction, because it hits Spidey on a deeply personal level. The trailer should establish this connection between Aunt May and Peter, continuing to build upon Tomei's performance in Civil War. Let's see May coddling Peter even though it's beginning to make him feel awkward, and see her obliviously questioning his new, secret Spidey lifestyle.
