Spider-Man: Homecoming - 12 Biggest Questions It Leaves Unanswered

4. Will We Meet The Missing Friends?

During the course of Spider-Man: Homecoming we meet most of the notable supporting players from Peter's life, or at least some new take on them, but there are a few notable exceptions: Harry Osborn and Gwen Stacey.

The obvious explanation for their absence is that Peter doesn't meet them until later in life, when he's at college, but there's no denying that both are big parts of the Spider-Man mythology. Given they want to keep this version of Peter in high school as long as possible - the intention at the moment is the entire trilogy, moving to his junior then senior year - does that mean they'll appear later as new high school students, or just not at all? Or will we get to spend even more time with this version of Peter than normal, and follow him to college too?

There's also the presence of J. Jonah Jameson to consider here too. He's not a part of Peter's life yet, nor Spider-Man's, but will he be out there? And can anyone even attempt to fill the shoes of J.K. Simmons?
